About All Tire & Service
All Tire & Service is seeking an experienced A-Level Diagnostic Automotive Technician to join our busy Page Ave location in Staten Island, NY. If you're the technician others rely on to solve the toughest diagnostic and drivability concerns, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work in a high-volume shop where advanced diagnostics are valued. Our Page Ave location services approximately 850 vehicles each month through a 6-bay facility, working on a wide variety of Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. You'll play a key role in improving shop efficiency, helping remove technical bottlenecks, and mentoring fellow technicians while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced diagnostics on complex drivability, electrical, and check engine light concerns.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems efficiently and accurately.
- Service Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Help improve shop efficiency by accurately diagnosing and resolving challenging vehicle concerns.
- Mentor and help lead less-experienced technicians by providing technical guidance and support.
- Work collaboratively with Service Advisors and management to keep repairs moving efficiently.
- Utilize Tire Shop/Freedom SMS, Steer CRM, AutoOps, and other shop technology throughout the repair process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of automotive technician experience.
- Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong drivability diagnostic experience.
- Strong electrical diagnostic and scan tool knowledge.
- Experience servicing Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor less-experienced technicians.
- Valid driver's license.
- New York State Inspector License preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay with overtime available.
